3D Sculpting

Creating this 3D digital sculpture involved a multi-step process that begins with conceptualization and progresses through detailed modeling, refinement, and rendering. I used ZBrush and Blender to retopologize the model to ensure clean geometry and optimal polygon flow, which is crucial for animation or further refinement. This model was inspired by AVTR concept car.

The Process

TEXTURING IS A CRUCIAL STEP WHERE I APPLY COLOR, SURFACE TEXTURES, AND MATERIALS TO THE MODEL, USING PROGRAMS LIKE SUBSTANCE PAINTER AND PHOTOSHOP TO CREATE REALISTIC SURFACE DETAILS. THESE TEXTURE MAPS ARE THEN BAKED ONTO THE 3D MODEL TO ADD DEPTH AND REALISM.

Final Render

ONCE THE MODEL IS COMPLETE AND TEXTURED, THE SCENE IS SET FOR RENDERING. LIGHTING IS A CRUCIAL PART OF THIS PHASE. LIGHTS ARE ARRANGED WITHIN THE VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT TO HIGHLIGHT THE SCULPTURE’S FEATURES AND CREATE THE DESIRED MOOD.

THE RENDERING PROCESS CAN TAKE ANYWHERE FROM MINUTES TO HOURS DEPENDING ON THE COMPLEXITY OF THE SCENE AND THE RENDERING ENGINE.
